The most approachable leather project that tempted me early on was the idea of making our own belts.

As leather belts would wear out, it was apparent that there are manufacturing methods in the production of belts some of which worked. Glued layers, snaps around buckles, copper rivets, and electroplated nickel buckles. Each method has its pros and cons (one of the cons being that nickel can be an allergic metal). But I had no idea it was such a varied market.

We're looking forward to putting belts on our site shop, and we'll post here when that happens.
