CC BY-NC-ND 4.0In 2002 I wanted to see Joe Strummer play at Hootenanny in Irvine, CA and I wasn’t able make it. Here he is from a video from around then when he and the band were about to play Rudy Can't Fail.
In December of that year we lost Joe Strummer, a rebel, a genius, a genuine human, who collapsed after walking his dog one last time, congenital heart defect.
