Summer Art Benefit Show by local artists that benefits local skate park.
Our first collaboration together, this old school deck was promptly treated to the Luke Dorny and C.Bennett paint and texture treatment. Let’s celebrate artistic Love & Connection.
Cory is the king of mixing texture and color to create the generously flavored canvases and murals under his belt, but here is their melange of artness mixed together on this old school pool deck. Cory’s textures and color, and Luke’s brief touch in between.
Pool decks are a throwback to the ‘70s and ‘80s when they were created to adapt to backyard pools that were emptied by surfers when the waves weren’t crashing on the beaches. The shape took off as a new style of skateboarding emerged.
Artists mixing their efforts to promote positive art responses and emotions that connect viewers with their loved ones and their surroundings is a purpose they can get behind.

An art show launches today July 5, 2024 on Winslow Avenue in Dorny’s hometown of Bainbridge Island, WA, for the First Friday Art Walk tonight, and will be installed until late August 2024. Stop by to talk with the artist at Caldwell Banker BAIN. It’s a group show of art by local artists C.Bennett, Josh Fisher, Luke Dorny, and his son Jazz Dorny.
Proceeds from the artwork at the show go towards the effort to update the Poulsbo Skate Park in Poulsbo, WA.
