The Story
Tree silhouette custom art on tung-oiled skate deck for Cream Co.
We had this oddball idea of mixing a Douglas Fir silhouette on maple with layers of walnut stain. Then we soaked it in tung oil and hand-rubbed it to a satisfying glow. Nine times.

- One-of-a-kind, hand-painted design
- Luscious, acrylic paint detail
- Hand-rubbed with 9 coats of pure tung oil
- 3 coats of walnut stain
- Then one more coat of oil over the design for good measure
- Custom, American-made, hard rock maple deck
