Wife and I snuck away to see one of our favorite bands in downtown Seattle in June and had a blast.

What a nice mental cleanse from the daily brain thoughts you have, to be at a live event with thousands of people watching your favorite songs being performed.
we had also just finished season 2 of The Last of Us and were curious to see how closely the theatre looked to the representation in the show.

In any event it turns out there are Paramount theatres is several large city across the nation and it has a really interesting history.

Paramount Theatre: Known as the Pinnacle Theatre in the game, this 1920s building serves as a refuge for Ellie, the main character. In real life, the gorgeous Paramount Theatre hosts Broadway musicals and other performances.

Of course, the crazy tie-in is that the tv show is a representstion of a zombie game, filmed in Nanaimo, Vancouver, to represent Seattle, covered in apocolyptic greenery and cordyceps, and the location in the show was supposed to represent the building we were just in days after finishing the show, to see a surrealist ‘80s alternative wave band play some of their music we grew up with decades ago, along with their recent album titled: “The Night The Zombies Came” including my favorite track the chicken song.
