While Ska has survived several 'waves' throughout the years, there is always plenty to explore in terms of vaiations within the ska genre, with subgenres such as rock steady, two-tone, dancehall, etc.

Hepcat manages to have a mellow groove about them all while being very listenable (especially when not dancing), and repeat listens.

I'm trying to remember back to think if I've seen Hepcat in concert. I can't be sure. If I did, I didn't know who they were at the time.

The Slackers on the other hand, I've seen them at least three times in concert. Great band as well. Check them out. And Dave Hillyard's work. He's been involved with Hepcat before.

One does not simply 'add all vinyl to collection'. This fits all of my ad-hoc requirements for being an album to buy on vinyl.

Very pleased to say that despite it being much later (24 years) since its release, I managed to find a copy a few months ago on vinyl and now it is in my collection.
