This is just(!) a type specimen PDF from Emigre for Base Monospace, designed by Zuzana Licko.
That’s all.
I have over the years fancied myself as a person that creates type, and while that’s true in a sketchbook, or in some digital form, I’ve never completed a full typeface design far enough to release it.
What’s interesting to me here is the overlay idea, and it is something I like to do, simply to see how each letter could, or would, occupy the same space.
Emigre is such an inspiration to me in my design career.
So, it was an inspiration to see this image today. I hope you find it at least as interesting for yourself.
